The Doctor

Appa
I did NOT see that ending coming!

And I take back everything I said about Catherine Tate. Her acting was brilliant.
Capt Jack: bastard. What a bastard. (yeah, he had to go join the Doctor, but the way he left Ianto and Gwen? Badly written or just plain bastard-ish)

What a twit. I hope Ianto finds himself a nice boyfriend. And Jack can just do whatever the fuck he wants in his sad little bedroom in the hub.
If he's not dead that is. (I'm taking it you're avoiding all torchwood spoilers as well?)

He couldn't at least have left them with an effective means of defense? Or better yet taken them along.

I'm not avoiding the Torchwood spoilers as religiously as the Doctor Who ones. I'll accept Torchwood on it's own merits. But as soon as Gwen started yappin on about something on Doctor Who ... I am reminded that I don't really like that show. (However it was sweet that Jack kissed Ianto -chastely on the head- when the baddies showed up. Fat lot of good that does Ianto in the end. TWIT.)

I am avoiding Torchwood spoilers in as much as they relate to Doctor Who. But you can tell me if they cancelled the series. I heard rumours that they might. (Jack has to live long enough to get the big head to fit his ego, or was that all a joke?)

Am I the only one who thinks that the lead bisexual male of adult oriented "Doctor Who Afterdark" spin-off coming on to the pre-pubescent (or just barely post) androgynous male lead of the children's oriented spin off was a "gay" agenda too far?

Told you he'd come on to the kid!! :-)

Nah, it's not cancelled, but it'll be just five "specials". That's it.

Five Torchwood specials? Like the Doctor Who Specials?

one week of torchwood, one episode every day for a week.... Sounds like a cheap and short telenovella to me, but hey...

LOL.

Me too.

I also am not sure why you know who was all upset about you know what happening at the end. "Not now! Not now!" Sure it's inconvenient, but really. You know since unlike brilliantly portrayed Donna who's trying to hold it together having no idea what's going on ... and Bastards also not telling her ... you know who knows from experience that it's a big deal ... but you know not THAT big of a deal.

Good point, I hadn't thought about that....

Didn't see it coming. Still hate Catherine Tate. The hand..what part is this going to play in it all? Has to come back as himself, somehow. Shift in time? Not sure.

Jack behaved much as I thought he would. He's selfish through and through.

Jack... yep. I hope he was intentionally written that way and there's not some misguided writer (RTD?) thinking Jack showed care and emotions for his co-workers in those scenes.

That's the end of Torchwood. Jack.. you're a brilliant guy but you simply don't understand the meaning of the word 'loyalty'.

*sighs*
